Environmental Credentials
Climate and environmental aspects are a big issue for companies in today’s society. Lloyd Roden Consultancy takes environmental issues seriously and since a number of clients have asked about our policy it was decided to share what we are currently doing to protect and save the environment.
Transport
Covid-19 has caused everyone to think differently about the way we work. Pre-pandemic Lloyd was travelling worldwide with 75% of his time travelling to client destinations. The pandemic encouraged us to think differently and since August 2020 Lloyd has been teaching online using MS Teams. We have decided to teach all future courses “on-line” whether in the UK or in another country, whilst this is not ideal as Lloyd enjoys the physical interaction, this will benefit the environment reducing the Lloyd Roden Consultancy carbon footprint.

Waste & Recycling
At every opportunity Lloyd Roden Consultancy recycles all possible waste paper, glass, metal, plastic and food. Peterborough City Council has a fantastic recycling policy and over 80% of householder’s waste is recycled.
 Global Printing
Lloyd Roden Consultancy uses Print-On-Demand Worldwide for all printing of the training material course books. They are environmentally aware and also subscribe to an environmental policy.

Office Practices
Lloyd Roden Consultancy will recycle as much as possible plus we have recently committed to plant a tree for every person that attends our courses. Lloyd Roden consultancy supports the well renowned organisation in the UK named “The National Trust” which aims to plant and establish 20 million trees by 2030.
Course Material Distribution
Lloyd Roden Consultancy will send all literature via pdf – whilst this is the most environmentally friendly approach, we also send a hard copy of the materials along with some “goodies” including some bug prizes. These prizes may include some plastic, so if you would prefer not to receive the prizes, or the hard copy of the course materials please get in touch.
